WWE 2K15: 10 Improvements Needed For WWE 2K16

4. Commentary

Let's be fair to 2K, bad commentary is the bane of the entire sports game industry. EA struggle just as much in the FIFA series as 2K do in the WWE franchise. There's no easy solution. Commentators can only record so many lines, and the nature of reading from a script makes their voices seem unnatural. It would be impossible to replicate the relevant action, so often game commentary comes off sounding disjointed. Despite the difficulty this area poses, 2K should look at addressing it somehow in WWE 2K16. They had boasted that Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole had recored lines together (for a more natural sound) in WWE 2K15, but they are going to have to go further in 2K16. Get the guys to record even more content, get them to do it when calling actual WWE and 2K action. This need for improvement falls under the 'must try harder' category.
