In WWE 2K14, 2K struck just the right note with '30 Years Of WrestleMania' and 'The Streak' mode. This year, we have showcase rivalries, and it just isn't the same. You felt a sense of narrative and progression in 2K14, but this year just feels like working through the motions. Sure, Shawn Michaels Vs Triple H is a fun feud and CM Punk vs John Cena is entertaining. But are they really the grandest of story themes? They're more just like snapshots of wrestling history. What would be much better is a fuller experience. Why not have a WCW mode instead of the NXT mode? Who wants to play as rookies when you could be playing through the history of World Championship Wrestling. Considerations like that need to be made ahead of WWE 2K16.
