WWE 2K15: 10 Innovations We Demand To See

4. Expanded Roles For The Divas

Some people can be highly ignorant and its always shocking when people dismiss the Divas and say, "No one wants to play as them." WWE caters to a wide demographic, and there are a lot of female fans, how do you think the women of the indies became inspired to be wrestlers in the first place? In previous instalments, most of the active Divas were always featured in the video games, No Mercy, alone had Trish, Lita, Chyna, Moolah, Terri, Mae, The Kat, Jacqueline, Ivory, Debra, Stephanie, The Godfather's Hoes and even Linda McMahon. If we want extra Divas, we usually have to wait for DLC whereas before most of the women were already included. That needs to stop and it looks like this year may see drastic change in that trend as all of the women have been seeing increased screen time ... AJ, Tamina, The Bella Twins, Aksana, Alicia, Summer Rae, The Funkadactyls, Eva Marie, Stephanie, and Natalya all seem like locks to be included for the game this year. However, there is one issue that hasn't been well-received: no male/female violence. Women can no longer wrestle the men in video games, which is ridiculous because some of the greatest Divas have competed in Inter-Gender Matches. Mixed Tag Team Matches are extremely annoying (and highly sensitive) because if you accidentally hit someone of the opposite sex, you are disqualified! If you hit a manager that has a different kind of gender, you also get disqualified! What if someone isn't interested in having a Women's Division in their WWE Universe but they want to have one or two women, and maybe have them compete against the men? What if a female wants to play as a Diva and fight the men herself? Whatever happened to it just being a video game? After all, we see Wonder Woman kicking Batman's caped carcass all over Injustice: Gods Among Us and we've seen the women of Mortal Kombat literally rip the heads off of their male counterparts. If you lift the gender restrictions and just allow the women to fight the men, you probably wouldn't hear so much complaining from people when there's only seven Divas included in-game at the time of the game's release. Just saying ... One final point on this, if you're not going to life the gender restrictions, could we at least be able to do a Divas' Royal Rumble?
