3. GM Mode Meets Universe Mode
For some, GM Mode was a lot more fun than Universe Mode. Why not combine some of GM Mode's more popular elements to make Universe Mode even more enjoyable. The new Rivalry Manager was a great addition, now how about we attach specific storylines to those rivalries, ensuring that we get certain cut scenes, branching story options, and a variety of different outcomes? How about we also implement another aspect of GM Mode that was so entertaining: match ratings. Was it a five-star match? Did the fans enjoy it? Are they tired of seeing the same person win? Another portion of GM Mode that was really fun was being able to include segments onto shows such as promos, interviews, Bikini Contests, advertisements, hype for a match that was coming up later. Cut scenes could be made available for each segment option as well, driving up interest in matches, rivalries, and increasing popularity for babyfaces and heat for heels. Perhaps there could be an option of playing without the brand extension or playing with it, enabling brand wars, wrestlers jumping ship, and bids for ratings just like in SmackDown! Vs. RAW 2007. Wrestlers could also send emails and drop pipe bombs, showing their displeasure with what is going on and threatening to walk, etc. Combine this with all of the fun aspects of Universe Mode, and you have yourself a legion of happy WWE fans.
