WWE 2K15: 12 Stars Who Should Be On The Cover

11. Rob Van Dam

The unique game mode, such as the Attitude Era mode in WWE '13 and the 30 Years Of Wrestlemania mode in WWE 2K14, has yet to be announced for WWE 2K15, but with the launch of WWE Network in the United States, access to the archives of WWE, WCW and ECW are now available, and as such, classic matches from either WCW and/or ECW could feature as part of the game mode. The biggest break out star from ECW was of course Rob Van Dam, whose high flying style and martial arts background, combined with the hardcore style, was extremely popular and it's no surprise he was nicknamed the "Whole F'n Show." A history of ECW mode, starring Rob Van Dam, would be popular with long time wrestling fans who can remember the WWE/WCW/ECW time of dominance and the hardcore era that ECW helped usher in to the WWE. However, the hardcore nature of Rob Van Dam and ECW may not sit well with the PG era WWE (which is odd, considering the company has an Extreme Rules PPV). This can be negated in a computer game, but when you think about the target audience the WWE would want to aim for, it is something 2K Games would have to consider. Rob Van Dam doesn't appear as often these days, but he is undeniably popular and as a fan favourite, he would be the ideal cover star to help promote a featured ECW game mode.
