WWE 2K15: Everything We Know So Far

2. It's Likely To Tie Into The WWE Network

The end of April saw the announcement that the WWE Network is now available on the Xbox One for only $9.99 a month €“ with a six month commitment €“ fand an XBox Gold Membership, which will allow fans to sign in to their WWE Network account and instantly have access to live and scheduled WWE programming, all 12 live WWE pay-per-view events and the most comprehensive video-on-demand library. Given that link up, and the WWE's drive to push the Network as their premium offering this year, it seems extremely likely that the Network is going to play a part in the game, probably modelled on NBA 2k€™s NBA Today feature. As with that feature, the WWE network will update statistics, ratings and accessories for every character on the roster, and rumours have claimed that new animations and signature moves will be added and updated throughout the WWE season, as well as character appearance updates, keeping the characters as current as possible to their images. It would make a lot of sense to link the two together, in order to convince wavering game fans to invest in the Network, and if they throw in exclusive online tournaments and events for members it would be an even smarter way to solidify the Network's presence.
