WWE 2K16: 10 Things You Need To Know About Stone Cold's Deal

8. Austin At SummerSlam

For the past two years, 2K used WWE's SummerSlam as the epicentre of their game hype. That should be no different this year, fans should expect the usual panel discussions and roster reveals to take place on the day before SummerSlam in Brooklyn. Given that Austin is the cover star and central game mode, he will almost certainly be in town for the promotional events around the game. That in turn gives WWE the opportunity to utilise Austin at SummerSlam. It isn't as if they'd have him wrestle, but with him in town and with a product to hype, there's a great chance that he'll make an on-screen appearance during the special broadcast. WWE could even think ahead and book him in a major role, perhaps as a special referee for a main event. 2K, WWE and Austin are all winners from such a mutually beneficial arrangement. Austin gets more money, 2K gets more attention, and WWE gets to utilise one of their top drawing attractions.
