4. The Authority

With Vince McMahon staying behind the scenes for the time being, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon have now firmly established themselves as the WWE's top authoritarian heels. While they may be hated by fans, that's the point of their characters, and it would have been fun to see them on the cover. That's particularly the case for Triple H though, and after a huge match against Sting at this year's WrestleMania, seeing The Game standing tall as the face of 2K16 would have been very cool. Plus, these games have so often revisited the past, it would have been interesting to see the rise of The Authority be the focus, especially as fans could have relived plenty of great Daniel Bryan and Shield matches as a result. Of course, with the way things so quickly change in the WWE, perhaps the decision was made not to highlight The Authority because the group could be disbanded by the time the games comes out! Even so, there's one specific member of this faction in particular who should have been given the cover...
