WWE 2K17: 10 Most Shocking Roster Omissions

8. Rhyno

Another ECW legend, Rhyno only returned to WWE television this July, but that can’t really be used as an excuse in his case. He came back on July 26th, one week after the 2016 Draft, but who else debuted on that show? Carmella and Alexa Bliss, both of whom are included in this year’s game.

Every one of the Draft’s six NXT call-ups are included in 2K17, in fact, but one half of SmackDown’s current tag team champions remains absent. What’s going-on there, 2K?

There’s always the chance Rhyno and Heath Slater will lose their belts prior to the game’s release, but omitting a current WWE champion is a baffling move. He’s one of the most important wrestlers on SmackDown at the moment, and given the time between his re-debut and the game’s release, there doesn’t appear to be any logical explanation as to why he’s not involved.

As far as currently active main roster wrestlers go, there’s no exclusion quite as shocking as Rhyno. All we really want is to Gore Jimmy Uso through a table, 2K: is that too much to ask for?
