WWE 2K17: 10 Things That Must Be Brought Back

4. More Satisfying Weapon Shots

Physics overall is something WWE games have long had a problem with. The games rely on solid collision detection, instead of fists flying through heads or limbs appearing to bleed through ropes rather than bounce off of them. Even in WWE 2K16, there were issues in that department. It's pretty unacceptable nowadays, but it's the result of developers using a system that is creaking with age. There's no excuse for weapons not to feel weighty or impactful. Hitting a foe with a kendo stick, for example, doesn't feel like it does much damage. On WWE television, that hasn't been the case whenever the object has been used. Chairs have a nice feel to them, but there's still a lack of options when it comes to using them. In Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain, RVD's amazing roundhouse kick using the chair looked awesome. There's been little like that over the past few years. In addition, tables are still pretty awkward to use. This strips some of the fun factor away from using them, as it's often genuinely difficult to get an opponent onto one and then put them through it. Sometimes, after being crashed through a table, a character will get to their feet before the one executing the killer move too. That's not good, and must be addressed.
