WWE 2K17 Roster: 10 Surprising Omissions

10. Yokozuna

A member of the famous Anoa'i wrestling family, Yokozuna was a two-time WWF World Heavyweight Champion as well as a two-time WWF Tag Team Champion with Owen Hart. He was the first member of that most distinguished Anoa'i dynasty to headline WrestleMania, doing so two years in a row in 1993 and 1994.

Yokozuna's accolades don't end there. He was the first wrestler of Samoan descent to win the WWF World Heavyweight Championship, and in doing so became the second fastest to win that championship at the time. He was a Royal Rumble winner just three months after making his debut too, and was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2012.

Despite all of these achievements, Yokozuna currently hasn't been confirmed for WWE 2K17. I assume he'll come as part of a HoF download pack, but time will tell.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
