WWE 2K18: 10 Most Wanted New Features
8. A Return For Missing Match Types
The processing power of consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One make it inexcusable for anything to be missing from WWE 2K18. 2K have had years to learn what both systems are capable of, and that knowledge should ensure that 2K18 features the most robust set of match types the series has ever seen.
In 2K17, the first title to feature The Dudley Boyz in quite some time, what sense did it make to exclude Tag-Team Table Matches from the lineup? Further, where were Tag-Team Ladder Matches or the (admittedly limited) Inferno Match?
By this point, WWE video games should feature as many match types as possible, and more matches should be added instead of stripped away.
This all adds to the customised feel of the games; wrestling fans love customisation and making a game feel like their own personalised experience, such tailoring really goes a long way to encouraging that feeling of connection between player and game.
2K17 wasn't as empty as 2K15 felt, but it's nonetheless true that match types shouldn't be missing in any modern wrestling game.
