7. Female Revolution Rise

It's about time the women of WWE were given a proper story mode fans can sink their teeth into. 2K18 would be the game to do it in too, because there are hints that the 'female revolution' WWE have made so much noise about could collapse. That may seem controversial, but are women like Lana really different from the Divas of old?

As a centrepiece for the rise of the female revolution, 2K should look no further than the epic rivalry between Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks from 2016. There were main event matches on Raw, Hell In A Cell bouts and Iron Woman matches galore, and all would be a hoot to play through, immediately giving the mode a hook.

Others like Becky Lynch, Bayley and (dare we suggest) Paige would also deserve a mention. No snapshot look at WWE's change from sex appeal to serious wrestling would be complete without matches like Bayley vs. Sasha Banks, the Triple Threat from 'Mania 32 or even Paige's controversial promo style.
