WWE 2K18: 10 Things It Can Learn From Past Games

2. GM Mode Rocked

General Manager Mode was removed entirely from the SmackDown vs. Raw series by the time 2009's entry came along. Now that WWE have re-introduced brand-specific authority figures and relaunched the brand extension, it makes sense for 2K to throw their might behind the idea again.

Scrap Universe Mode or remodel it into GM Mode, please. Being able to assume the role of Raw, SmackDown or ECW General Manager rocked. Obviously, ECW wouldn't exist as a third brand in WWE 2K18, so simply choosing between Raw and SmackDown would suffice. This is one feature everyone wants back.

Micro-managing everything about the brand, from roster and pay-per-view output, would be awesome. Even having the ability to compare what happened on the rival show to your own would be a sweet idea, because it removes the largely pointless feel to Universe Mode. Controlling everything would be a lot more fun if it meant something.
