OK, so the grammar in the above screenshot isn't 100% accurate, and the drug-fuelled rampage Goldberg is going on sounds like something out of the Katie Vick era of WWE programming. Still, at least that gamer had the ability to freely flex their own creative muscles and come up with an angle they wanted to see.

It's over-the-top, ridiculous and more than a little controversial, but the power to create one's own story from scratch is something that's sorely missing from 2K18's feature set. Again, it's one 2K previously used before deciding it should be tossed on the scrap heap in favour of pushing Universe Mode.

That was a crime against player expression.

2K's own Community Creations tab is tailor-made for letting fans upload their own Create-A-Story chaos so others can play through them. After all, if you want to turn Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns into the second coming of The APA and have Goldberg play murderous junkie, that's your prerogative.
