WWE 2K19: 10 Biggest Changes 2K Must Make

6. Greater Multiplayer Immersion

Eventually, 2K are going to have to realise that their online multiplayer doesn't work as well as FPS blockbusters or team-based sports franchises. Online battles in WWE 2K18 often boiled down to button-mashing affairs, or felt lopsided due to one player mastering the reversal system.

Forcing players to get mad at strangers when they should be having fun sharing the experience with friends is silly.

One suggestion would be including a two/three/four-player Career Mode, or perhaps bringing back the old GM Mode (no, nobody will ever stop talking about that until it happens) and letting friends compete against one another in a Raw and SmackDown ratings war. That kind of thing writes itself.

Multiplayer should be way more important than it currently is to 2K's series. The dev team need to give pals more to do besides jump into one-off exhibition matches, wrestle with a temperamental server online or juggle Universe Mode's random game world.
