WWE 2K19: 10 Biggest Fears Hardcore Fans Have

2. That MyCareer Will Suck & Overlook Women Again

WWE 2K18 MyCareer
2K Games

MyCareer, much like Universe Mode and the game's messy three-man announce booth, was the kind of thing that probably sounded brilliant on paper during 2K's creative meetings. Creating your own WWE star and taking them on a journey through the Performance Center, NXT and main roster domination? Sign us up.

Or, create something more engaging than running through corridors in between matches.

A tightly-focused story would be preferable to such nonsense. On top of that, 2K cannot continue to overlook women's wrestling; that's a major flaw, and there are fears 2K19 will follow in the footsteps of 2K18 by (once again) ignoring a female MyCareer path.

Not only does that fly in the face of how WWE present women on Raw and SmackDown in 2018, it's an insult to female gamers who want to create themselves and live out their pro wrestling career dreams. MyCareer needs a hefty injection of storytelling, greater gender representation and a lot less running.
