WWE 2K19: 10 Leading Contenders To Be Cover Star

9. Finn Bálor

Last year's cover art for 2K18 wasn't that eye-catching. Seth Rollins was clearly an athlete of some sort, but there wasn't much to glance at for non-wrestling fans browsing games on store shelves. Maybe that's why Finn Bálor would be a decent choice this year.

Bálor's Demon guise is striking, and there's an opportunity for 2K to do something unique with the 2K19 cover should he grace the box. Imagine one of those lenticular images. You know them well: they're the ones that move depending on the angle they're viewed at. This is perfect for Bálor, because it means he could be depicted as both his regular self and the face-painted Demon.

If WWE are feeling particularly brave, they might want to think about releasing a special "Bálor Club" edition with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson on the cover alongside Finn. Not only would that put the group over, it'd also appeal to those hardcore wrestling fans who adored their time in the Bullet Club.

It's worth a punt.
