WWE 2K19: 10 Most Wanted New Features

4. GM Mode

2K Games/WWE

Technically, GM Mode counts as something new for 2K. They weren't the ones overseeing WWE's video game output when we were playing General Manager on Raw and SmackDown before. Back then, it was THQ who delivered one of the best modes in series history, right before they went and cancelled it after SmackDown vs. Raw 2008.

GM Mode had so much potential. It's potential that'd be realised by 2K given their experience with Universe Mode and the better capabilities of PS4/Xbox One compared to the PS2's limitations a decade ago. If Universe was replaced by GM, few would complain; even those who enjoy Universe yet have never experienced GM Mode would quickly realise just how immersive it was.

The mode makes sense too due to WWE's recent split between both major brands. Throw NXT in there as a 'proving ground' for aspiring General Managers (as a nice little bonus) and you have one hell of a feature on your hands that could keep players interested in 2K19.
