WWE 2K20: 10 Biggest Changes 2K Must Make

8. Remove QTEs/Chain Wrestling

Before starting this mini-rant, it'd be silly not to laud 2K for their wonderful Showcase retrospectives. Though they're not for everybody, they do a great job of revisiting the past, and some 'on rails' segments are necessary to weave players through the correct order of objectives. That's fine, but having quick time events elsewhere isn't.

On that note, it's time to do away with those crappy chain wrestling sequences. Who in their right mind gets any enjoyment out of waiting around to press select buttons at the right moment? It's tedious, archaic and a throwback to when games thought they were being futuristic by scripting such events.

Imagine that flying in any other fighting game. Look, there's Ryu in Street Fighter, and he can't Hadouken the camo trousers off of Guile until the military man has failed to wiggle around the right thumb stick and fill a little blank circle red. It's silly, and it needs to go in WWE games.

Chain wrestling sucks. It removes control from the player and forces them to watch contextual control boxes rather than the wrestler they're playing as.
