WWE 2K20: 10 Biggest Fears Hardcore Fans Have

8. Commentary Remains A Jumbled Mess

Turning off commentary in 2K19 became law after just a few matches. It's just not fun to listen to, and that's not down to its repetitiveness either. In other games like FIFA, Madden, NBA 2K and more, the narrators record their lines with gusto. They're excited to be part of the project, whereas Michael Cole, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton sound like they'd rather be anywhere else.

That lackadaisical approach isn't the only problem.

Gender identification was an issue in 2K19, and so was the fact that Corey Graves wasn't even a twinkle in WWE's eye when Bryan Danielson wrestled John Cena on Velocity in 2003. Fans shouldn't have to put up with this crap. This is 2019, and commentary that, y'know, works isn't much to ask for in an AAA video game.

Alas, they likely won't change a damn thing. 2K20 will launch with commentary that's broken, buggy and boring. The only big difference might be the addition of Renee Young behind the booth so fans have someone new to listen to before turning the volume down.
