WWE 2K20: 10 Biggest Innovations We Need To See
8. Editing That Isn't A Pain
The next time you play 2K19, jump into Universe Mode, go to the 'MyUniverse' tab and try to edit some superstars. As much as it's fun to decide which brand they belong to, whether they're cheered or booed by fans and more, it is an utter slog to do this for more than handful of names.
Why is editing such a pain? There's no need for it to be. In other 2K titles, like their NBA franchise, editing is done by way of a sleek grid system that doesn't require players to sit through (admittedly brief) loading pauses. Hopping in to tweak something about any given character shouldn't be such a chore.
Mini-menus would be better.
If they were put in, then the entire task of managing the roster wouldn't feel so boring. It needs to be zippy, intuitive and something gamers spend only a couple of minutes doing. Right now, it can take between 30-45 minutes to edit the Universe roster to your liking.
