The man with the worst name in pro-wrestling - at least according to Chris 'Y2J' Jericho - and the current NXT UK Champion is as yet entirely conspicuous by his absence on the WWE 2K20 roster. The barrel-chested Austrian not only starred in WWE's second highest-rated match of all time (according to Dave Meltzer, anyway) at TakeOver: Cardiff, but has also become a significant factor since grown-up NXT's move to television. Surely, then, his sizable frame is worthy of a gigabyte or two on the disk?

At present, no. As outlined in the intro, NXT has gotten the short shrift on the roster thus far, though we can realistically expect this to change before release, given 2K directly promise on their website that superstars from the brand will feature in the game. But will it extend to the NXT UK satellite? We certainly hope so - but there's no guarantee.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
