WWE 2K20: 7 Things It Does BETTER Than 2K19

3. Showcase Is Bigger

Much merriment was had amongst wrestling gamers when it was announced that (following a year off in 2K18) Showcase Mode would be making a comeback in 2K19. Those high fives turned to squeals of delight when it was revealed that Daniel Bryan would be the focus subject of an 11/12 match whistle stop tour.

It was fun, and yet it wasn't as expansive as some may have liked. This year sorts that out by looking at a wider cast, and beefs up the match count to a healthy 15.

The 'Women's Evolution' Showcase is a joy to behold for those who already love the core concept. Focusing on Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bayley ensures players (especially those who felt playing a dozen bouts as Bryan got old) won't be bored. It's also a nice break from male domination for the series.

There's enough nostalgia without things being too retro as well, and things peak nicely with a look at the latest WrestleMania supercard. That's something these games should endeavour to do more frequently than they have.
