WWE 2K22: 10 Most Anticipated Changes Fans Need To See
4. A ‘Year In Review’ Feature
It has always baffled this gamer that 2K's titles don't take advantage of video game-ready stories WWE has already served up. Vince McMahon's product, with all its soap-opera leanings and over-the-top action, seems tailor-made for a game, after all.
That's why some sort of 'Year In Review' retrospective could be such a laugh.
Surely it wouldn't be challenging for 2K to pick out some of the biggest and best angles from the year before and put them in 2K22? Had 2K21 come out late-last year, for example, it could've charted Edge's comeback and feud with Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre's WWE Title push, the Bayley vs. Sasha Banks break up and more.
Of course, 2K might have to be selective about moments they pick because of the time it takes to develop the game, but it's possible. Even being able to play through some of the biggest matches of the year (complete with real video footage to hype them) would be enough.
