6. NXT Stars Will Have A Bigger Presence
Some fans on Reddit believe it's high time that 2K put a bigger spotlight on NXT. The then-developmental league did get some shine in WWE 2K15 (albeit only on previous-gen consoles like Xbox 360 and PS3), but it's rarely highlighted as important in WWE's games.
Is it time to change that? Many believe so.
NXT is now a bonafide third brand that sits alongside Raw and SmackDown to most. It's on USA Network, has a unique feel that's different to everything else WWE presents, and should really be getting more house room in-game. For example, 99.9% of 2K players would rather see Karrion Kross and Scarlett in there over Humberto Carrillo and Jaxson Ryker.
This could be the year that 2K decides to take NXT more seriously. That'll be especially vital if GM Mode makes a comeback (more on that later), or if the team want the best roster of playable wrestlers money can buy.
