Trish Stratus is in the game, Mickie James is in the game despite being Impact Knockouts Champion at time of writing. So why has Lita been given the same treatment in 2022 as... well, Lita in 2006?
Like Paige and the other two afore mentioned ladies, Lita is a legend of women's wrestling and always made the most of what WWE threw at her, even when she knew that it was hot garbage (live sex celebration, abortion storyline, the affair exploitation). She made history in being the first woman alongside Stratus to main event Raw and continues to make special appearances today, recently battling Becky Lynch in an excellent match at Elimination Chamber.
You would have thought that Lita's reputation would have made her a mainstay in WWE games for years to come, especially with women's wrestling being more relevant now than it ever has been. Dream matches against Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, Asuka will have to wait for at least another year. Or you could go back to 2K20...
