WWE 2K22: 10 Things They Must Get Right

2. New Animation Cycles

WWE 2K20
2K Games

This isn't something that's exclusive to 2K and VC. Other games do recycle graphical assets and animations years later, but maybe not with the reckless abandon WWE's series does. Eagle-eyed fans who have been buying these things for years will be able to spot the same rehashed move cycles that were used 20 years ago.

Think about that for a second.

Gaming technology should be beyond this by now. It's not cool that 2K are digging up 'Fisherman's Suplex 1' from SmackDown: Just Bring It on PS2 and deciding that it's perfect for 2K20 on PS4 and Xbox One. This approach is forcing gamers to play the same game time and time again, and it's getting seriously lame now.

2K22 absolutely must have brand spanking new animations to shout about. If this means bringing in some more workers to motion capture, then so be it. Yours truly is just so sick and tired of seeing the same thing for two bloody decades.
