WWE 2K22: 10 Ways To Successfully Reboot The Series
6. Motion Capture
A handful of Superstars do provide motion-capture for the WWE games, and it's obvious which ones when you look at the wrestlers. Some look scarily realistic, while others look like they've been crafted by a short-sighted intern working at 2K, and it's no secret that Indie wrestlers are often use to provide mo-cap for many of the moves we end up being able to pull off in matches.
That has to change. WWE Superstars have a busy schedule, but they should all be brought in to perform motion-capture versions of their moves, and facial capture which ensures that their video game counterparts actually look like them rather than just a vaguely familiar facsimile.
This is harder for Legends and a wrestler like The Rock who is no longer a regular part of the company, but if that means not including them, so be it. If nothing else, the WWE 2K games should include Superstars who look like the ones we see on RAW, SmackDown, and NXT each week, and not poorly crafted video game versions who bear only a passing resemblance.
