WWE 2K22: 10 Ways To Successfully Reboot The Series
3. Simple Changes That Make The Biggest Difference
Honestly, this has been one of the franchise's biggest problems for a while now. Making small changes like the ones we're about to talk about won't be enough to completely reboot the WWE 2K series, but they would certainly go a long way in making the sort of differences fans are crying out for.
Chair shots to the head, for example, shouldn't be in the games. That's not a moral point either, it's a common sense one; we no longer see those in WWE, so there's no reason for them to be in these games. The same applies to the way titles are carried to ring as they're automatically strapped around someone's waist, even when it looks ludicrous on a wrestler like The Big Show, for example.
This also applies to the way commentators at ringside react to the action around them, the mechanics revolving around what happens when a referee is knocked down, and even small animations like a wrestler tapping out to a submission move. If 2K is indeed going back to the drawing board, then small issues like these should definitely be among those which are addressed right at the very start.
