6. Another Showcase
It's a shame that 2K20's catastrophe meant more people didn't/couldn't play the women's wrestling journey laid out in Showcase Mode. That is something fans have yearned to see for years, but it was mired in a sea of bugs and experience-breaking moments.
Time for 2K to try again in 2K22.
Showcase is a worthy addition to the game mode line up - it always has been. Come the next entry, it'd be great to see a retrospective on The Undertaker or Edge. Actually, scrap 'Taker for now, 'cause that 'Rated-R' one sounds delicious. It'd be so good to play through some of Edge's career, including his 2020 return and 2021 Royal Rumble win.
Failing that, 2K22 could always go off the deep end and focus more on an out-there Showcase for Bray Wyatt's 'Fiend'. 2K dabbled with the bizarre with their 'Originals' offshoots, and they'd likely enjoy doing some more of that for Wyatt's alter ego.
