WWE 2K23: 10 Most Anticipated Changes Fans Need To See
7. A More Exhaustive Showcase
It's a little bit sh*t that Rey Mysterio's World Title win at WrestleMania 22 wasn't included in his very own career retrospective Showcase. Honestly, skipping that and neglecting to put Kurt Angle on the roster was a huge clanger from the bosses at 2K Games.
What the hell were they thinking with that one?!
Overall, Rey's Showcase was one of the least-exciting fans have ever witnessed. Sure, reliving his stunning WCW Halloween Havoc 1997 classic vs. Eddie Guerrero was a thrill, and the way 2K spliced in real-life footage was awesome, but everything else felt flat. Fans need more, in other words.
If 2K23 is going to have another Showcase, then it's important that it's more exhaustive than Mysterio's was. 12 matches is maybe 3-4 light, and the ones 2K's team do pick out just have to be better. There are zero excuses for failing to make a career retrospective the total package.
Zero.
