WWE 2K23 Superstar Ratings: 10 Biggest Surprises & Snubs
6. Surprise - Bayley (91)
Full disclosure - this writer is a big fan of Bayley. From her days as a Hugger to her golden period as a Role Model, Bayley's always been must-see TV.
That being said, her rating this year feels a mite high after the year she's had.
While fronting WWE's foremost female faction looks impressive on paper, the reality is that Bayley's stint as Damage CTRL's leader has been disappointing. While her cohorts have become two-time tag team champions, Bayley's own efforts have been significantly less successful - the absolute nadir being when Bianca Belair utterly dismantled Bayley and her henchwomen at Summerslam, in scenes reminiscent of Cena's infamous comeback against The Nexus.
Bayley's 91 is even more surprising considering she was only rated 88 in WWE 2K22. We're not sure what formula 2K Games are using for Bayley's grade to improve after one of her most disappointing years, but it feels like someone needs to take a look at the developers' maths homework.
