Some more variation could be found in front of crowds too.

WWE’s real-life sets are uninspiring these days, and definitely lack the originality of yesteryear when the company used physical set pieces instead of depending on CGI/giant screens to differentiate things. 2K23 wanted to replicate WWE's real-life product as closely as possible, but why do they need to slavishly adhere to the humdrum at ringside?

The Royal Rumble arena was a stellar example of scale. Same with WrestleMania, and it's important that similar variety is served up for most of the other pay-per-view sets. Otherwise, let's be honest here, what's the bloody point in playing most of them if they're so samey?

A few noticeable tweaks here or there would get the job done. For example, Extreme Rules could have a few areas over the barricade that players can interact with or brawl in. Or, perhaps Hell In A Cell could always have the cage ominously hanging over the ring regardless of match type; with the option to lower it mid-match.
