Finally, actual real-life WWE referees are about to get one of those tasty video game royalty bonuses. No, this isn't the first time actual refs have been in pro wrestling games before, but it is nice to hear that no less than seven authentic WWE officials will be recognised in 2K24.
It's unclear whether or not they'll all have unique stats or personalities, but how cool would that be? So, say Jessika Carr is the ref for your World Title bout - she'd officiate it a little differently to Charles Robinson or Rod Zapata. If they don't have individual traits, then surely there's no point. Right?
Wannabe refs will rejoice at news there's a 'Create-A-Ref' add-on to the top notch creation suite too. If you've ever dreamed of becoming a referee more than a wrestler, then now is your time. There's more to come on officials in this article too.
