WWE 2K24 Superstar Ratings: 10 Biggest Surprises & Snubs
7. Snub - R-Truth (67)
2K Games have a history of changing a wrestler's rating after launch - they did it last year for Rhea Ripley, bumping her from 87 to 90 after receiving a call from the most threatening jailbird in wrestling history - and it's likely the company will have to do the same for R-Truth.
To be fair to 2K, no-one saw R-Truth's recent explosion in popularity coming. Before his return at Survivor Series, Truth had last been seen suffering a horrific injury on NXT in 2022 - one that almost retired him for good. Since then, however, the evergreen wrestler (can you believe that the man in that picture is 52 years old?) has undergone a meteoric ascent in popularity, with his program alongside Judgement Day propelling him back into the wrestling mainstream.
Yes, R-Truth is a comedy act, much like his fellow D-Tier resident Akira Tozawa (68). But for sheer entertainment value and longevity alone, surely Tom and Nick Mysterio's favourite wrestler deserves to at least be in the upper half of the roster?
