WWE 2K25: 10 Biggest Reveals (So Far)

2. MyRise’s Story

The excellent MyRise feature has been a wonderful return to form for story/career modes in WWE games. No, it doesn't let you pick a real-life favourite and guide them through matches on Raw, SmackDown, NXT and PLE, but there's enough meat on the bone with the CAW-led mode to keep people coming back. Besides, you can always pick one of the gorgeously-crafted workers on Community Creations and have fun there - seeing MJF in WWE is technically possible.

This year's MyRise storyline will play up to the intergender boast. In it, Bayley, Kevin Owens other WWE stars invade NXT to try and seize control of the company from Shawn Michaels up. Others confirmed to be involved in this narrative are Jey Uso, Seth Rollins and Bianca Belair; it looks like your created wrestler/Community Creations download will be teaming with that trio against Bayley, KO and pals.

Fans who love what HBK is doing with the developmental brand will get a kick out of seeing it so heavily involved in 2K25's narrative. Who knows? Perhaps Shawn himself will pop up to team with your wrestlers against the invaders. Slim chance that could be hidden behind some 'press here to offer HBK Crown Jewel money' DLC paywall though. Only joking!

Expect another cracking time in MyRise if you've been enjoying 2K's chief story mode since the rebrand from MyCareer in 2K22. Being able to weave some intergender matches into the bargain will spice things up too. Kevin Owens vs. Bianca Belair sounds like it'd be some match.
