"Revolutionary".

There's another buzzword issued by 2K to detail a feature in WWE 2K25 - but how revolutionary, exactly, will it be?

Derek Donahue, the game's Lead Combat Designer, was on-hand at the developer Q&A to discuss the new third-person camera, which was initially implemented for use in entrances. Instead, though, the camera will provide a new perspective in all areas of the game. Donahue noted, specifically, climbing the top rope and scaling the Hell in a Cell structure as examples of when the third-person point-of-view could be best used (H/T GodisaGeek):

"When you're climbing the top rope, when you're running on ringside, when you're climbing to the top of a Hell in a Cell, being able to follow the character all the way up there, it really feels like you're embodying them rather than when your using the standard broadcast view that we've had previously."

This, it sounds, will take embodying a cruiserweight such as Rey Mysterio or Dragon Lee, or replicating The Undertaker and Mankind's Hell in a Cell toss to new levels.
