WWE SmackDown Here Comes The Pain Remaster: 10 Things It Must Have

6. Big Set Piece Stunts

Much like the sluggish gameplay players are expected to enjoy in-ring, it's a challenge to genuinely relish another lethargic romp through 2K19's backstage areas. The Bray Wyatt compound and some refinements have helped this, but it's still not the same laugh backstage brawling used to be. It all feels so...restrictive.

Who wants to fight with dodgy environmental interactivity to put someone through Vince McMahon's office desk when they can Five-Star Frog Splash off the top of buildings in Times Square? Who'd rather play a game of 'Guess What You Can Use' with various elements in the hallways when they could perform elbow drops from a ruddy helicopter?

It's no contest.

In Yukes teased retelling of Here Comes The Pain, those big set piece stunts would be important. They gave the original game so much personality, were easy to pull off and encouraged experimentation with the game's world. That's fun.
