XBox 720 Next-Gen Announcement: 5 Things We NEED To Happen

2. Confirm/Deny the Leaked Kinect 2.0 Specs

NextBox 4 Over the past year or so, the Kinect 2.0 has been hinted at being something quite spectacular, as well as a standard upgrade. Several features have been hinted at, among them being a 1080p camera, Augmented Reality glasses, longer field of vision, and the ability to track four people at once. Even the ability to read eye movement has been hinted at by various publications, the operative word being "hinted". Come to think of it, hints and leaks are all that we have to go on when it comes to the specifics. The Kinect has been an interesting, if not underutilized peripheral. It's full potential is waiting to be tapped and the Kinect 2.0 seems more like what people have been expecting out of the project since the beginning. Even if it was something as simple as four player capability at 1080p, with better vocal command capability, it'd be enough of a step up to launch the new generation. Confirm some basics, and throw some breadcrumbs towards what the future holds, and you have yourself a proper announcement.
