Ever wanted to play as an amorphous blob of death and destruction? Carrion’s got you covered.

A retro-inspired 2-D side-scroller from Phobia Game Studio, who describe it as a "reverse-horror game", Carrion is a morose dip into gameplay satisfaction. You’ll uproot scientists from desks and toilets, adding them to your fleshy mass, growng in size and opening up different gameplay options.

If you don’t care about the Metroidvania elements having you backtrack for optional upgrades and collectibles, Carrion offers a couple of hours of smooth, grotesquely satisfying gameplay. There are a few puzzle elements to the game, forcing you to cycle through your attacks in search of the right move to open a door, or how to effectively combat the tougher enemies thrown at you in later stages of the game. If you're not a puzzle fan, don't worry, Carrion is mainly a human-eating simulator.

With a short playtime, and an on-point execution of taking control of a horror creature, Carrion is a perfect pick-up for a quick horror fix in between games.
