Xbox One: 10 Reasons Why You Should Be Buying It

8. The Controller

Xbox One Controller It's pretty widely-accepted that the Xbox 360 pretty much had the best controller of the past generation. Despite grannies waggling their Wiimotes and Playstationers dual-shocking their way to the top, even the most die-hard Playstation fan would be hard pressed not to say that the Xbox 360 controller was pretty damn nice to work with. Despite a crappy D-pad, the controller had nicely positioned analogue sticks, real triggers (making pew, pew noises is optional) and fitted nice and snugly in your mighty mitts. For Xbox One, Microsoft hasn't decided to forgo that which worked. Instead, they've tweaked and improved upon aspects of the original, making a lighter, more responsive and more comfortable controller that retains everything good about the 360 version. The only major downside? It doesn't come with a rechargeable battery pack. Get down to your local shop and stock up on cheap batteries, then. If you're lucky, they'll last approximately 30 seconds.
