Xbox One: 10 Upcoming Exclusive Games That'll Make You Buy It
3. Inside
You might not have realised thanks to Limbo being on Steam and Android, but console-wise developers Playdead are only signed with Microsoft, putting their much-anticipated followup Inside firmly within the green walls of Camp Xbox. Whether that turns out to be true in the long-run is another thing, as the wording on some press releases has been that it's coming "first" to Xbox One, as oppose to all-out exclusivity - but for now it's full steam ahead to create an indie game that really makes the console worth investing in. From the trailers available so far, Inside appears to have a very Orwellian 1984-type vibe, showing some multi-layered backdrops where an unknown worker-drone force is getting on with their day as you're presumably attempting to escape or change things in the world. Look to E3 to have some hands-on time with this, but even from the trailers out so far the whole 'worker ants of the dystopian future' vibe is immediately interesting, tapping into the same subject matter that the brilliant The Stanley Parable also covered - albeit in a vastly different fashion.
