2. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Elder Scrolls Morrowind
Bethesda

Yes, Skyrim is regarded by some as the best RPG of all time, but the foundation of Skyrim was built in Morrowind.

Morrowind was and still is, loved by fans all over. For a while they were fighting for Bethesda to allow them to go back to Morrowind and revisit an area they had grown to know and love over the years.

Just recently, Bethesda acted on that request, greenlighting Zenimax's release of a Morrowind expansion to The Elder Scrolls Online. Just like Battlefield II, there's never been a better time for fans to be able to revisit and spark their interest in Elder Scrolls back up than right now.

As is the case with most RPGs, Morrowind had two expansions, Tribunal and Bloodmoon. Both were packaged and released with the Game of the Year edition of the game. This is the edition that would make the most sense to have hit the backwards compatible catalog, giving players the full Morrowind experience. As previously stated this would just help spark interest in The Elder Scrolls Online and the recent Morrowind expansion. It would be a smart move by Bethesda and hopefully, this is a game fans will be able to jump back into on their Xbox One.
