3. TimeSplitters: Future Perfect

If there is one first-person series fans are dying to see make a comeback, it's the Timesplitters series without question. Until the comeback that fans want so bad to happen, which more than likely will never come, they will have to settle with what they already know and love.

There's plenty debate as to which game in the series was the best. Some fans will claim it was the second while others will claim it was the third, which is the entry on this list, Future Perfect.

Future Perfect would make the better choice for backwards compatibility simply for one reason: online multiplayer. It should also be mentioned that Future Perfect had a much more cinematic story than the previous instalments, and being the last of the series was able to fine tune some of the bugs from previous games.

The game featured an addictive mapmaker as well as extremely fun arcade and challenge modes. Both of which allowed players to unlock new and sometimes very weird characters to use while playing. If online multiplayer made a return alongside all of this it would be one of the better and one of the more enjoyable choices for the backwards compatibility program.
