Xbox One vs PS4: 10 Key Features Both Sony And Microsoft Need To Improve Upon

4. System Storage

Xbox One 56091 This nuisance may not affect everyone, but it€™s one completely omitted feature that bothers me. I play a ridiculous amount of games and subsequently amass a large number of data files. When you consider how huge game install files are this generation, it€™s inevitable that the 500GB won€™t be enough for either console. Now, you can upgrade the HDD for your PlayStation 4 thankfully, but Microsoft dropped the ball on this one. You can€™t even check how much storage is still available on the Xbox One, let alone upgrade the thing. Even so, will the biggest HDD€™s be enough to satisfy the more dedicated gamers out there? It€™s mostly a situation we will just have to witness play out, but I already have half of my PlayStation 4€™s HDD filled. I also have a strange case of OCD and don€™t like deleting things just to make room for other things. Say you did delete a rather large full retail game though, and randomly got an itch to play it again. Redownloading 30-50GB files - even if the download speeds are lightning fast- is still frustrating because you€™re not resolving the core dilemma of having to micromanage what content is worthy of populating your HDD.
