It's always important to believe in the people you care about and Majima takes this to the extreme. During Yakuza Kiwami especially, Majima will pop up at various locations of the game chasing you down. If he catches you, you'll be forced into a fight. This side quest can be pretty tedious at times. Sometimes you just wanna hit the arcade without Majima jumping out of a manhole, but these fights are integral to Kiryu's growth.

When you defeat Majima you gain experience and you can unlock new moves for your Dragon Of Dojima fighting style. The whole point of these fights is to improve Kiryu's strength. Why? Because Majima knows Kiryu can do better. Whilst Majima states that it's because if he is to kill Kiryu he wants to face him at his strongest, it becomes evident that Majima has a soft spot for Kiryu and the two have a kind of friendship that the fans can't get enough of. It’s quite sweet really, Majima has a lot of faith in Kiryu's abilities even if he has a pretty violent way of showing it.

The Majima Everywhere task also acts as a break for the player from the heavy main storyline. Whilst it can feel like a lot of work, it is still really fun. From Everyones Idol Goro to Zombie Majima, Majima will dress in the weirdest of outfits complete with even weirder backstories just to fight Kiryu and return him to true Dragon Of Dojima status.
