Yu-Gi-Oh: 10 Most Powerful Blue-Eyes Cards
5. The Melody Of Awakening Dragon
The artwork for The Melody of Awakening Dragon is so sick. It features the Lord of D but gone are his days of tooting a measly flute to summon dragons, now he dons a double-headed guitar in the shape of a Blue-Eyes!
By discarding any card, we are able to search our deck for two dragon monsters with 3000 or more attack and 2500 or less defence.
It just so happens these are the stats of a Blue-Eyes White Dragon, the Blue-Eyes Alternative White Dragon and while not directly a Blue-Eyes card it has become an honorary Blue-Eyes support, the iconic Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End, who is now off the ban list for the first time in 16 years.
The typical play is to search up both Blue-Eyes White Dragon and the Blue-Eyes Alternative Dragon allowing for an instant special summon of the latter. It also isn't limited to once per turn which means we can play multiple copies, thin out our deck and set up the perfect hand.
Melody is one of these cards that's good now but as time goes on and Konami continue to print dragons that fall under the attack and defences clause, whether its Blue-Eyes related or not, the card just gets better and better.
