The next notable shot sees a spear-wielding civilian walking across an enormous bridge. We've seen this bridge before in Zelda footage, because it's right in front of the enormous twin-peaked mountains that have been central to much of the game's promotion (one amazing piece of Breath Of The Wild art shows Link scaling one of the peaks).

What's exciting about this is that it shows the world will be organic, with NPCs travelling about the land just like you'd expect to happen in real life. It may seem hard to believe, but we haven't really seen NPCs wandering about independently since Majora's Mask, and that was within the confines of Clock Town.

Can you imagine NPCs that not only wander about their own village, but between villages, making enormous journeys across Hyrule? Few things could make the world seem more vibrant and alive.
