8. Return Of Collectable Gadgets

Breath of the Wild does a great job of giving you tools to play around with, pretty much from the very beginning. Your Sheikah Slate is basically an all-purpose item dispenser, allowing you to use everything from remote bombs to stasis as and when you please.

That's great - but where's the rest of the cool gadgets you usually get as upgrades from dungeons, Nintendo?

Playing Breath of the Wild, for example, and not getting the hookshot, just feels wrong. It'd be a damn handy item to use too - you could use it to more quickly traverse mountains, steal an enemy's sword - the possibilities are endless.

For Breath of the Wild 2, it would be fantastic for Nintendo to bring back gadgets. It'd be even better if they were combined with the new, sprawling dungeons.

These items should then be able to fundamentally change ways we can interact with the open world; this way, you'd get new tools to play with over a period of time, giving you more of an incentive to complete the story, rather than just wandering and finding whatever you want.

While you're at it Nintendo, could we have a musical instrument of some sort too please?
